The Sailboat

New Horizons has been chartering the waters of the east coast for over 30 years. She is a United States Coast Guard inspected, custom-designed and built 60 foot Tortola Motorsailer, certified for 47 passengers.

We affectionately call her “our big bottom gal.”  She’s a great boat with lots of room  - big and comfy.  You can move freely and comfortably around the boat and there’s plenty of space to find a spot around the 50 foot deck.  Below deck, New Horizons offers passengers a roomy salon which seats 10 in cushioned comfort and a full-sized, commercial galley with seating for six, as well as a large pilot house. There are 3 double berths and two heads with showers, for a maximum of 6 overnight passengers. The 6’7” headroom below, along with the 17’ beam (width), makes her a big, spacious, comfortable boat for all those on board. New Horizons is beautifully detailed with mahogany and cedar inlay and solid brass fittings and portholes.  There aren’t too many other boats out there like her – come aboard and sail the harbor with her!
